Bond in Motion
in the 1960s, an italian journalist famously referred to james bond as mr kiss kiss bang bang. bond certainly does a lot of kissing and a lot of shooting, but he actually spends far more time driving around like a maniac in a multitude of extraordinary vehicles—from sports cars and speed boats to motorbikes to moon buggies.
now, thanks to the london film museum, an unprecedented number of these motorised purveyors of mayhem are being gathered together in a single space in an unforgettable exhibition.
真人搏彩网exhibits include the yellow and black 1937 rolls-royce phantom iii sedanca de ville driven by the eponymous baddy in goldfinger, the classic ford mustang mach 1 from diamonds are forever, and the sleek lotus esprit s1 from the spy who loved me which converts into a submarine.
真人搏彩网and there is, of course, an aston martin db-5—the achingly beautiful silver sports car first used by bond in goldfinger, before cropping up in several other films, including goldeneye—the film in which this particular car was used.
it’s not all high performance glamour though—alongside all that horsepower there’s a battered three-wheeled indian tuk-tuk taxi from octopussy.
